Girls Troop

Scouting programs teach youth the values expressed in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Scouting helps young people develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership abilities, and citizenship skills that positively influence their adult lives.

In the great outdoors, young people have the chance to develop skills that enhance their self-reliance. They can explore canoeing and hiking trails, tackling challenges they initially believed were beyond their abilities. There is no better teacher than the natural world.
